Introduction
I will be investigating how people's attention spans have shortened (citation) in recent years, and it's impact on Hollywood cinema.
I will be looking into the content of films such as action sequences and dialogue, as well as the editing techniques and how the narrative is delivered to the audience.
There have been several studies conducted on attention spans and how they have changed rapidly. I will use these as a foundation for my investigation, as they will play a critical role.
Body
The main themes that run through my research are attention spans and how they have changed "post mtv". Touch upon examples as to why I feel they have.
Have attention spans affected the way media is produced, or has media affected the attention spans of it's audience. I will look at the new craze "vines", YouTube as a platform and maybe even film trailers.
